Dr. Jillela Chinnareddy, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Commission, and retired Chief Secretary Ajay Kallam conducted a review meeting to discuss the development of the renowned Jogulamba Temple in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district on Tuesday.

The meeting, held on Tuesday at Praja Bhavan, focused on planning strategies for the temple's development. Ajay Kallam, who had previously served as the Endowments Commissioner, shared his experiences in bringing the temple into prominence and initiating development works.

Dr. Chinnareddy highlighted that two review meetings had already been conducted with the Principal Secretary of the Endowments Department, Sailaja Ramaiyer, Commissioner Sridhar, and the temple committee. He announced that another meeting would be held on the March 20 to finalize decisions on the temple's development projects.

A special committee has been formed to oversee immediate tasks, including improving lighting, parking facilities, and installing promotional boards detailing the temple's history. Dr. Chinnareddy instructed the committee to identify key locations such as bus stands, railway stations, and other prominent areas for these boards.

As part of the temple's broader development, plans include introducing boating facilities, enhancing tourism, constructing guesthouses, avenue plantations, and setting up arches. The meeting was attended by retired Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University, Professor Raghava Reddy, Managing Director of the State Seeds Development Corporation, and International president of the Seeds Growers Association, Dr. Keshavulu, among others.
