Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid floral tributes to Professor K. Jayashankar at his Jubilee Hills residence on his birth anniversary, recalling his pivotal role as the Telangana movement's chief ideologue. The Chief Minister stated that the government remains committed to fulfilling Jayashankar’s vision and aspirations for the State.
BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao also paid homage, highlighting Jayashankar's lifelong dedication and close association with BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao. Rama Rao described him as Telangana's guiding light, while Harish Rao called him a symbol of the people's aspirations. BRS leaders noted that the previous government honored his legacy by naming Bhupalapally district and an agricultural university after him, including his life history in textbooks, and observing his anniversaries officially.
