‘Rythu Nestham’ Venkateshwar Rao receives IARI award

“Rythu Nestham” Dr. Yadlapalli Venkateswara Rao received the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute Fellow Farmer Award on Wednesday from the hands of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Inaugurating the two-day Indian Agricultural Research Institute Krishi Vigyan Mela in New Delhi , the Minister advised the farmers to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. 

For this, he called for moving forward with organic and natural farming. On this occasion, Dr. Yadlapalli who was selected for the “Fellow Farmer Award” for the year 2026, was felicitated. At the PUSA Krishi Vigyan Mela, Dr. Yadlapalli, Chairman, Rythu Nestham Foundation, spoke about his efforts to create awareness among farmers about millets processing and value addition. The participants of the Krishi Vigyan Mela were also appreciated about the activities of “Rythu Nestham” foundation for the last ten years for chemical-free farming.
