Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR) conducted a detailed inspection on ongoing redevelopment works of Secunderabad Railway Station on Sunday. He was accompanied by Bartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Secunderabad Division and other senior Railway officials throughout the inspection.

The General Manager conducted a detailed review of the on-going redevelopment works at the Secunderabad Railway Station. He took stock on the progress of up-gradation works on both the sides of the Railway station i.e., platform number 1 and platform number 10 side. He inspected the progress of works of foot over bridges. He also inspected the on-going works of upcoming station booking, parking and circulating areas etc.   

The General Manager was briefed by the officials by giving a powerpoint presentation on the plans and progress of works. The Secunderabad Division officials also briefed the comprehensive measures undertaken to ensure the smooth movement of passengers while maintaining safety and security.

Sanjay Kumar Srivastava instructed the officials that in view of redevelopment work involving significant infrastructural modifications requires effective crowd management, security enhancements and passenger assistance initiatives.
