Hyderabad: Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT), a premier autonomous institution accredited by NAAC and NBA hosted TEDxVJIT – METAMORPHOSIS, an independently organized TED event on January 31, 2026. Marking the second edition of TEDx at VJIT, the event served as a platform for transformative ideas, inspiring stories and thought-provoking conversations. 

Curated around the theme “Metamorphosis,” the event reflected growth, resilience and change, bringing together a lineup of speakers from diverse professional and personal backgrounds. The speakers included Varenya Borbora, Vishnu Vijayan, B.K. Sumalatha, Ananya Lohan, Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Jeet Basak, Harshal Maniyar, Prathamesh Sinha, Aishwarya T.V. Pillai, and Major Dr. Mohd Ali Shah. 

The sessions covered themes such as leadership, creativity, social innovation, spirituality, resilience and personal growth, sparking meaningful dialogue throughout the day. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. Srujana, Principal, VJIT appreciated that TEDxVJIT – Metamorphosis was a powerful reflection of the institute’s commitment to nurturing curious, confident and socially responsible individuals. 

The event was conducted under the visionary guidance of Dr. Palla Rajeswara Reddy, Chairman, VJIT who emphasized the importance of platforms that complement academic excellence. Highlighting the collaborative effort behind the event, B. Srinivasulu, Convenor, TEDxVJIT remarked that the overwhelming response from speakers and participants reaffirmed the belief that meaningful ideas can truly inspire transformation.
