Secunderabad Congress Reviews SIR in Gandhi Bhavan

Today, at Gandhi Bhavan, Cantonment MLA Sri Ganesh participated in the Secunderabad District Congress Party Political Affairs Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, along with Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, and District Congress Party President Deepak John. The meeting held an extensive discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. It was discussed that coordination should be maintained with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure that every eligible person’s vote is included in the voter list. Party workers were also asked to visit every household and verify whether the residents’ names and votes are included in the electoral roll.

The meeting also decided to take measures to strengthen the Congress Party in the district and to widely communicate the government’s welfare and development programmes to the people. Key Congress Party leaders from the district participated in the meeting.
