Hyderabad: Rajashekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy , producers of Aadi Saikumar and Archana Iyer starrer “Shambala”, mentioned on Saturday that the film would be completely different from other horror films and informed that it would release on December 25th. The film is being made under the Shining Pictures banner and is directed by Ugandhar Muni.The cast also includes Swasika, Ravi Varma, Madhunandan, and Shiva Karthik in key roles, with music composed by Sricharan Pakala. The teaser and trailer released so far have significantly heightened curiosity and created strong buzz around the film.

Interacting with media, the producers stated that the narrative which had a blend of devotional and horror elements instantly connected with them. Regarding the budget, the mentioned that though it started with a modest budget, it later increased it to ensure high production quality. They also informed that 80% of the budget was already recovered satellite and OTT rights and expressed confidence that through the theatrical run, the film will move into profits. They also informed that they were planning a Hindi release.

They complimented the director for his shot making and storytelling skills. They also said that describe Sricharan Pakala’s music, especially the background score as a “major asset” for the film.
