At her Mumbai leg of the All Hearts Tour, Shreya Ghoshal left the audience teary-eyed with a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Forces
“Every second that we are standing here, we are not even having a single worry in our mind because there is somebody protecting us at the border,” she said, addressing a packed audience. “Any place you ever see an army man, navy or air force officer, we should touch their feet. This song is my way of touching their feet — a Charan Sparsh.”
The singer’s tribute comes in light of recent heroic efforts by the Indian Armed Forces, including Operation Sindoor, a daring rescue and defense operation, and the Indian response to a recent attack attempt from Pakistan. Shreya Ghoshal thanked our forces for standing strong and ensuring safety for every citizen.
Appealing for unity through music, she added, “I would like that all our bands also be united in this. If everyone sings this together, then I think it will be a very beautiful feeling. I feel this is how we should remember this moment.”
The concert turned into a patriotic celebration as the crowd rose to sing Maa Tujhe Salaam with Shreya, echoing gratitude for India’s real heroes. With emotion and pride, Shreya reminded the nation of the invaluable contribution of our soldiers, urging every Indian to carry forward respect and unity beyond the concert halls. The Mumbai concert was not just a musical night — it was a national salute.
