Renowned Tollywood film producer and socialite Payal Saraf formally inaugurated the five-day D Sons Patola Art Exhibition at the Labels Pop-up Space in Banjara Hills. Speaking at the launch, Payal Saraf said, ‘It’s wonderful to see such a diverse collection of apparel, especially Patola art sarees, pure handloom, and silk products showcased under one roof in the city.’
The exhibition presents a vibrant array of traditional textiles and handcrafted items from across India. Highlights include exquisite collections of Patan Patola, Bandhani, Banarasi, Zari Kota, Kashmiri, Maheshwari, Kanchipuram, Modal Ahimsa Silk, Lucknowi, and Ajrak sarees. Also on display are suits, kurtis, dress materials, bed sheets, and jewelry.
Speaking to the media, the event organizers shared that the exhibition will run until September 18, 2025, offering a dynamic platform for textile enthusiasts and artisans alike. The primary social aim of the exhibition is to support weavers and strengthen the handloom industry by creating broader market opportunities for their crafts.
