Hyderabad: The Telangana PM-KUSUM Farmer Association (TGPMKFA) successfully hosted the two-day Solar Farmers Summit under PM-KUSUM on 16 to 17 November at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad.

The national-level program brought together farmers, solar manufacturers, technical experts, financial institutions, and policymakers to promote large-scale awareness on solar plant installation, financing, subsidies, and long-term benefits.

The main session on 17 November was attended by Chinna Reddy, Vice Chairman, Telangana State Planning Board (TSPB), who highlighted how solar adoption has become more accessible to small and medium farmers.

Key sessions included a Knowledge Forum on plant efficiency, Manufacturer Connect showcasing leading solar technologies, and a Policy Dialogue on PM-KUSUM implementation. Farmers gained practical insights on investment, subsidies, financing, plant operation, and maintenance.
