SP conducts surprise visit of Dornakal Police Station

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Shabarish conducted a surprise inspection of the Dornakal Police Station on Wednesday to review its overall functioning. During the inspection, the SP examined the station's administration, progress of pending cases, maintenance of records, reception facilities, cleanliness of the premises and the services being provided to the public. Reviewing the status of pending cases, Dr. Shabarish directed officers to expedite investigations while maintaining high standards of quality.

The SP instructed police personnel to receive every complainant courteously, listen patiently to their grievances and provide lawful and appropriate solutions. He also instructed officials to ensure 100 percent timely updating of all cases, FIRs, investigation progress, station diaries and other online records in the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS). In view of the rising number of cyber crimes, the SP directed police to conduct awareness programs in villages, schools, colleges and youth organizations.
