Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple to hold Brahmotsavams

Hyderabad: The Annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple near Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, will be held from February 17 to 25, 2026, temple authorities announced on Friday.

As part of the traditional rituals, the Lord will be awakened during the early morning hours, followed by Agama-prescribed religious ceremonies.The festivities will begin with Ankurarpana on the evening of February 16, while Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam, the traditional purification ritual, will be performed on February 10 from 7 am to 10.30 am. Devotees can have Sarva Darshan from 11 am to 5 pm on the same day.

As per Agama traditions, the Brahmotsavams will feature daily Vahanam Sevas in the morning (8 am to 9 am) and evening (7 pm to 8 pm), with Dwajarohanam scheduled on February 17 between 10.30 am and 11 am.

The key highlights include Garuda Vahanam on the night of February 21 (7 pm to 9 pm), Rathotsavam on February 24, Chakrasnanam on the morning of February 25, followed by Dwajavarohanam in the evening. Pushpayagam will be held on February 26 at 3 pm.

Cultural programmes such as Kolata dances, Bhajan sessions, and Annamacharya Sankeertanas by artists of the Annamacharya Project will be organized daily under the auspices of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.
