To further promote eco-consciousness, the college organized a pledge ceremony where students, staff, and participants vowed to reduce plastic usage in their daily lives and promote greener habits within the community.
As part of the day’s celebration, several competitions and cultural events were held on campus, including poster-making on plastic pollution, essay writing on environmental conservation, skits and street plays highlighting the dangers of single-use plastics and quiz competitions focused on climate change and sustainability.
The Principal of the college, faculty members, and student leaders emphasized the need for collective responsibility in addressing environmental issues and commended the youth for their active involvement.
