Metro India News | Hyderabad :Three Class 11 students have launched a digital self-learning centre at Mandal Parishad Primary School (MPPS), Kokapet, offering a year-long program in digital literacy and artificial intelligence (AI) to 10 government school students. The initiative, launched started by Balling Beyond, a student-led initiative founded by Aryan Nadimpalli, Akshay Sandhyala and Bollineni Rana. Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, donated 30 refurbished laptops to the initiative on August 1. Ten laptops have been provided to the Kokapet school, while the remaining devices will be used for a secondary school programme scheduled to begin later this month.
“Learning content is only the first step. We want these students to become innovators who can look at problems around them and use AI as a tool, not as a crutch,” Aryan Nadimpalli said. Akshay Sandhyala said the objective was to encourage students to identify challenges in their communities and develop practical solutions instead of merely consuming technology. Bollineni Rana said the long-term aim was to make the initiative self-sustaining.
The school principal said the initiative would provide the selected students with access to digital tools and guidance that were otherwise not readily available to them and hoped they would serve as role models for their peers.
