Study Vajpayee’s Life, Venkaiah Urges Youth

Former Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said that it was a joy to see the centenary celebrations of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee being held across the country. He said that he was happy to launch the poetry collection book ‘Ataljiki Akshara Nirajanam’. He also said that it was his responsibility to pay tribute to his ancestor Vajpayee. Venkaiah Naidu visited Khammam district and participated in several programs. He spoke to the media on this occasion. He said that he had the great fortune of working as the president of the Akhil Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Vajpayee. He explained that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was called the king of the hearts of the people and stressed that Vajpayee’s life should be studied.

Naidu commented that Vajpayee had  produced many leaders. He suggested that today’s youth should study Vajpayee’s life. He directed the youth to become leaders like Vajpayee. He said that making personal criticisms and speaking offensively was considered greatness today. He advised the youth to know that speaking in an offensive manner  was not greatness. He said that he had told a friend that he had retired from office but had not retired from speaking and mentioned that the friend asked him in America that he was not seen much in the newspapers and TV. He reminded that he had told the friend that in the newspapers and TV, people were shown talking inappropriately and added that They were showing people making personal criticisms. Naidu  said that he did not know how to speak in a bad way ?  He directed today's youth to become ideal political leaders by taking the lives of great leaders like Vajpayee as an example.

Venkaiah Naidu commented that the youth were  only thinking about entering politics after seeing the behavior and words of today's politicians and were  not able to come forward enthusiastically. He wished for the return of the politics with values, standards and principles. He said that today there were  no principles and everything was a sham. He advised that politics,  where parties are changed for positions, was not good. He criticized that leaders were  changing parties as if they are  under an umbrella for positions. He suggested that this was not the right method. He stated that Shyam Prasad Mukherjee was arrested for entering Kashmir without permissions and suggested that such political leaders should be an example for all .

 Venkaiah Naidu directed that many great people,  who fought for this country at the risk of their lives,  should be an example for the youth. He  suggested that if politicians talk nonsense, they should be answered in the polling booths. He said that politics that forgets principles and makes nonsense,  should be avoided. He also said that people would not trust those,  who carry that agenda on any whim.
