Suryalanka Beach, located about 80 kilometers from the capital region of Amaravati, is set to undergo significant development, promising enhanced infrastructure and improved amenities for tourists. Known for its pristine coastline stretching over four kilometers, Suryalanka Beach has been a major attraction for visitors from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Recognizing the need for better facilities, Bapatla District Collector J. Venkata Murali has allocated Rs. 40 lakh from district grants to improve amenities at the beach.

The Andhra Pradesh government is also integrating Suryalanka Beach into its 100-day development plan, with an additional Rs. 100 crore allocated by the central government for tourism enhancement. Plans include the construction of new resorts over an eight-acre area under the Tourism Department, offering high-quality accommodations to visitors. Additionally, the introduction of water sports activities, such as speed boating and jet skiing, will further elevate the beach’s appeal.
