SVS Medical College professor receives prestigious award

Dr. Tummuru Venkateswara Reddy, Professor in the Department of Chest and Pulmonary Medicine at SVS Medical College and Hospital Mahabubnagar has been honored with the prestigious Fellowship Award by the Indian Association for Bronchology (Indian Thoracic Endoscopy Society), in recognition of his significant contributions and research in the field of chest medicine.

The award was presented at a conference held in Noida in the presence of eminent dignitaries, including renowned pulmonologists and former Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Randeep Guleria, and Republic TV Chairman Arnab Goswami, along with other distinguished personalities. Dr. Tummuru Venkateswara Reddy was the only recipient from South India among the eight doctors honored with this prestigious fellowship, making the achievement particularly significant for SVS Medical College and Hospital.

The management of SVS Medical College, Principal Dr. Joshi, Medical Superintendent Dr. Hariprasad Reddy, Head of the Department of Chest Medicine  Dr. Pradyut Waghray, Professor Dr. Koteswara Rao and other members of the medical fraternity congratulated Dr. Reddy on this distinguished achievement and appreciated his valuable contributions to the field of pulmonary medicine.
