Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said the Telangana government was prioritising investments from South Korean companies, with a focus on job creation, technology transfer and skill development among youth.
Speaking at the K-Harmony Festa–Korea Culture Day 2026, held at Shilpakala Vedika here on Sunday, he said Telangana offered significant opportunities for collaboration with Korean companies in sectors such as electronics, electric vehicles, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, renewable energy and emerging technologies.
Bhatti recalled that the investment discussions held during Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit to South Korea in August 2024 had laid the foundation for economic cooperation between Telangana and South Korea. He said the state government would work to strengthen the partnership further, attract more investments and expand employment opportunities.
He observed that Telangana had much to learn from South Korea’s economic progress, noting that sustained investments in education, skill development, infrastructure and technology had played a crucial role in the country’s development.
The Deputy Chief Minister also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation among industries, universities, research institutions, startups and small enterprises to promote innovation, technology exchange and economic growth.
