Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism has unveiled a new initiative, the “100 Weekend Wonders of Telangana” contest, aimed at encouraging travelers and content creators to explore and showcase the state’s hidden gems. The contest invites photography and travel enthusiasts to capture lesser-known destinations across Telangana through photos and short videos.

Participants can focus on themes such as nature, wildlife, art and culture, heritage sites, water bodies, culinary experiences, farm and rural stays, resorts, spiritual spots, and adventure locations. Each entry should feature unique, accessible destinations suitable for weekend trips.

The contest offers attractive prizes, including Rs 50,000 for the first place, Rs 30,000 for the second, and Rs 20,000 for the third. Additionally, 10 consolation winners will receive a complimentary 2-day/1-night stay at select Haritha Hotels. Entries must include three photographs and a 60-second video, along with connectivity details, a Google Maps link, and a brief description covering best season, stay options, budget, and safety considerations.

Submissions are open from December 10, 2025, to January 5, 2026, with winners announced during the Sankranthi Kite Festival. Participants can submit entries by scanning the QR code on the campaign poster or posting on Instagram or X, tagging Telangana Tourism and using the hashtags #100WeekendWonders, #CaptureTheUnseen, #HarithaHotels, and #TelanganaTourism.
