TG firming up arrangements for Medaram Jatara

Temple structures, the stone formations of Pagidda Raju and Govinda Raju, flooring, the installation and construction of stone pillars, as well as enhancements along Jampanna Vagu in the S.S. Tadvai mandal of Mulugu district underway

With the renowned Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara set to commence in January, Minister for Revenue and Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, announced that significant preparations are being established for the Jatara on a permanent basis.

On Friday, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, accompanied by Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka and Chief Minister's Principal Secretary KS Srinivasa Raju, reviewed the ongoing renovation and development projects. This included inspections of the Sammakka Saralamma temple structures, the stone formations of Pagidda Raju and Govinda Raju, flooring, the installation and construction of stone pillars, as well as enhancements along Jampanna Vagu in the S.S. Tadvai mandal of Mulugu district.

During the inspection, Minister Ponguleti instructed the officials and contractors concerned to expedite the works and ensure timely completion while upholding quality standards. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy clarified that the construction should be completed in a way that the devotees would not face any inconvenience for another hundred years, as per the ideas of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

He said that the development works of Medaram temple should be completed as early as possible. The Minister said more than one crore tribal and non-tribal people are expected to attend the fair, and arrangements are being made to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience. He said the Medaram premises are being beautifully decorated and huge arrangements are being made for the devotees within a radius of 50 kilometers for the Jatara.
