TG POLYCET 2026 set for May 13

The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training is scheduled to conduct the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG POLYCET) for the academic year 2026 on May 13.

This pivotal entrance examination serves as a gateway for prospective candidates seeking admission to various polytechnic programs across the state. Following the completion of the examination, results are anticipated to be announced within a span of twelve days, thus providing candidates with timely feedback regarding their performance.

Currently, the registration process for the TG POLYCET 2026 has commenced, offering eligible candidates the opportunity to secure their participation in this crucial examination. The deadline for submitting online application forms is established as April 20, and individuals wishing to register are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 250 for those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), while the fee is set at Rs. 500 for candidates from other categories.

In addition to the standard registration period, there exists a provision for late registrations. Applicants who miss the initial deadline may still submit their applications until April 21, albeit with an additional late fee of Rs. 100. Furthermore, an expedited registration option termed 'tatkal' is available, allowing candidates to apply until April 22 for a fee of Rs. 300. It is noteworthy that in the previous year, the examination saw significant participation, with a total of 1,06,716 students completing the registration process. Among these, 98,858 candidates appeared for the examination, resulting in an impressive qualification rate of 92.64 percent. This data underscores the competitive nature of the TG POLYCET and its importance in shaping the educational trajectories of aspiring students in Telangana.
