Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s bilingual action-drama Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha set for a grand pan-India release this Christmas

The much-anticipated fire glimpse of the bilingual action-drama Dacoit was unveiled on Sunday, offering a thrilling preview of the film’s gritty world of high-octane action and drama. Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the pan-India film is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 25, 2025.

Helmed by debutant director Shaneil Deo, Dacoit promises a gripping narrative blending intense action sequences, raw emotional arcs, and high-stakes drama. The film also features filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role, adding further weight to an already stellar cast. Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, Dacoit is presented by Annapurna Studios. The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. 

The story and screenplay have been jointly developed by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo.Currently, the film is in production with shooting underway in Hyderabad, to be followed by an extensive schedule in Maharashtra.  With its powerful visuals, striking performances, and action-packed treatment, Dacoit is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
