Ten-year-old child actor Hardika Sharma’s most recent project was the horror movie Chhorii 2, where she plays Nushrratt Bharuccha’s daughter. When we asked her if she feels scared while watching horror movies, she said, “I’m not scared of anything in the world. I was very small when we all used to watch horror movies like The Conjuring at my nani’s house. I used to find those movies very funny.” Her parents and twin brother came along with her to The Free Press Journal studio for the interview.
Hardika has come in several movies and web series such as Citadel Honey-Bunny, Call Me Bae, Hungama 2, A Thursday, The Freelancer, Soni Ki Scooty, Mombae, Asur 2, Hunter, Blackout, 36 Days, and Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper. She seems to be the popular choice for playing the younger version of actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Her forthcoming project is Rakht Brahmand.
Born and brought up in Delhi, she shifted to Pune when her father changed his job and post-pandemic, her parents decided to shift to Mumbai because Hardika was frequently selected for numerous projects, along with several national and international brand commercials like Hyundai, Snapdragon, Cleartrip, Croma, Lifebuoy Hand Wash, Toyota, etc.
Although she finds Suniel Shetty kind and humble, Ashutosh Rana would teach her magic tricks. Her favourite seems to be ‘Kareena Kapoor ma’am’, with whom she has done several ads, and also ‘Madhuri Dixit ma’am’, whose expressions and dance she loves.
