Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh embarked on a visit to London on Saturday night to attend the “World Travel Market (WTM) 2025”, scheduled from November 4 to 6. The event is one of the world’s leading global summits on tourism, showcasing new innovations, investment opportunities, and international collaborations in the travel industry.
After departing from Rajamahendravaram Airport, the Minister reached Mumbai and continued his journey to London early Sunday morning. Speaking before his departure, Durgesh said his participation aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading global tourism destination and to attract international investors to the state’s diverse travel and hospitality sectors.
He added that the government is committed to transforming Andhra Pradesh into a hub of sustainable tourism by highlighting its scenic coastline, heritage temples, eco-tourism sites, and cultural richness at global platforms like WTM.
