TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed strong confidence that the Congress candidate would secure a decisive victory in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. He also projected that the Congress party would achieve around 85 percent success in the forthcoming local body elections.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, Mahesh Kumar Goud criticised former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, accusing him of burdening Telangana with heavy debt. He stated that the current Congress-led administration is working to resolve the financial obligations incurred during KCR's tenure and attributed the state’s ongoing economic difficulties to his leadership.

The TPCC chief also took aim at BRS leaders for distributing debt-related cards, claiming the public views these gestures with amusement. He held the previous administration responsible for circumstances that led to distress and suicides among Telangana residents.

Mahesh Kumar Goud further pointed out that the BRS and BJP parties coexisted harmoniously for a decade and continued to criticise their ongoing alliance. He emphasised that the people of Telangana are aware of this political alignment and will exercise their vote accordingly in the by-election.
