TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Veerabrahmam reviewed preparations for the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta and directed the officials to expedite works ahead of the festival scheduled from March 27 to April 5.
Ankurarpanam will be held on March 26, followed by Dhwajarohanam on March 27, while the celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam is slated for April 1.
During a review meeting with officials on Thursday, the JEO stressed for timely completion of temporary kitchen arrangements, repair works in the temple and Yagasala, queue lines, shelters, signboards, and engineering works. He instructed deployment of Srivari Sevaks and adequate arrangements for Annaprasadam, including seating facilities for devotees.
The JEO inspected the proposed photo exhibition area, cultural programme venue, Kalyana Vedika development works, and counters for distribution of Talambralu and Annaprasadam. He also directed improvement of water facilities and landscaping along the temple-to-Kalyana Vedika route.
Officials were instructed to repair Mada streets, enhance festive ambience with illumination and decorations, ensure medical and security arrangements, install LED screens for Vahana Sevas, and organise cultural programmes and Kavi Sammelanam. Special focus was placed on summer relief measures such as buttermilk and drinking water counters.
TTD departments will be deployed on deputation, while Prachara Radhams will tour surrounding villages to promote the festival. The Public Relations Department will undertake extensive publicity through social media. Several TTD officials attended the review meeting.
