Prem Prakash Modi’s psychological family drama Tum Rahe Na Tum will have its world premiere at the International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) Toronto on October 10, 2026, as a Gala Premiere. Starring Jimmy Shergill and Divya Dutta, the film is set in a hill town in Uttarakhand and follows a couple whose conflict over their daughter’s future turns into a psychological battle over control, identity and trust.
Adapted from Swedish playwright August Strindberg’s The Father, the film also features Tanishka Tiwari, Harsh Chhaya, Zarina Wahab and Rajesh Jais. Jimmy said the story is rooted in an Indian family but has universal emotions. “It is incredibly special to see Tum Rahe Na Tum begin its journey with a world premiere at IFFSA Toronto,” he said.
