Special Zone Crime Team and Falaknuma Police on Tuesday apprehended two persons who were in the illegal possession of country made weapon. Based on credible information, the Detective Department of Special Zonal Crime Team along with Falaknuma Police apprehended two accused persons who were in illegal possession of a 0.7 mm Pistol.They were identified as Vijay Yadav and Bunty Kumar Yadav, both residents of Jharkand and working as fruits vendor in wine shops and bars in Hyderabad

Three months ago, accused Vijay Yadav purchased a country made weapon (a 0.7 mm Pistol) from one of his known sources Sonu Kumar for an amount of Rs. 58,000 and kept it in his possession with an intention of selling it. Vijay Yadav along with Bunty Kumar Yadav attempted to sell the weapon to anti-social elements at a higher price by showing pictures of weapon in order to make profits.  Two Cell Phones(Oppo & Vivo) were also recovered.

Accused persons A-1 and A-2 were apprehended while other  accused Sonu Kumar was absconding. The above apprehension was made by D. Bikshapathi, Inspector of Police, Special Zonal Crime Team along with his staff under the supervision of G. Venkateswar Reddy, ACP, Special Zonal Crime Team, CCS Hyderabad along with Falaknuma Police.
