The Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival (HTAMF) and Pancharatna Seva is celebrated every year with devotion by many selfless artists and art lovers. This year it would be conducted from 19th to 25th of January at Sampradhaya Vedika, Shilparamam by Sanskriti Foundation, a 17-year-old, Hyderabad-based non-profit organization.
The aim of the event is not just displaying talent or show of strength, but also for creating an environment where the artists, along with their families meet happily once an year and develop a good relationship with each other. Many great scholars, budding scholars and gurus would be taking part in this annual festival.
The organizers are of the opinion that there is a need to introduce the elders to the next generation and take forward the Telugu classical music, tradition and classical arts and preserve them from the storm of the popular media, obscene cinema and politics. “Those who have knowledge of classical music can sing and perform. Those who do not know can listen to it happily at the music festival.” announced the organizers. All programs are free. More details including the registration facility for artists and audience can be viewed at www.htamf.org
