Kashmiri artistes Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami debut in YRF’s Saiyaara, lending soulful depth to Mohit Suri’s soundtrack

Yash Raj Films (YRF), in collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Mohit Suri, has officially unveiled the title track of its much-anticipated romantic drama Saiyaara, marking the musical debut of two Kashmiri artistes — Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami.

Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara is poised to be one of 2025’s biggest romantic releases. The title song, which dropped this week, has received an outpouring of love across platforms, and holds special significance — it introduces Faheem and Arslan as fresh voices from the Valley.

Faheem Abdullah, handpicked by Mohit Suri for the project, lends his vocals to the soulful track composed collaboratively by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami, and Faheem himself. The lyrics have been penned by the celebrated lyricist Irshad Kamil.

“It is an honour to represent Kashmir in the Hindi film industry with our musical debut in Saiyaara,” said Faheem. “Kashmir has incredible talent, and it’s humbling that two Kashmiri boys got the chance to work on a project of this scale. I hope this makes the people back home proud.”
