As part of the Winter Session of the Telangana Assembly held on Monday, Wanaparthy  MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, spoke on several issues related to his constituency.

He stated that certain survey numbers of revenue lands located in the outskirts of Nagavaram and Rajanagaram villages in Wanaparthy mandal were mistakenly recorded as Endowment (Devasthanam) lands. He requested that officials of the Endowments and Revenue departments hold a joint meeting and resolve the issue.

He pointed out that the problem related to the construction of the Wanaparthy bypass road is also pending between these two departments and urged that it be resolved immediately.

He mentioned that the construction of a 600-meter-long canal related to the Khan Cheruvu project has been stalled due to forest clearance issues and requested the government to focus on the matter and obtain clearance at the earliest.  He raised issues related to the construction of Indiramma houses in Amudal Banda Thanda, as well as problems concerning road construction and renewal under the Panchayat Raj Department.

He urged the government to examine and immediately resolve matters related to the establishment of a Revenue Division in Pebberu mandal and the clearance of files pertaining to the Pebberu market, which are currently pending with the government.

Keeping in view the development of Wanaparthy town, he appealed for the sanction of Rs 50 crore for urban development. He demanded that farmers whose lands were acquired for the Gollapalli Reservoir, Buddaram Stage-2 Reservoir, and Ganapa Samudram Reservoir in Killa Ghanpur be paid compensation immediately.
