Actor Mohan Babu received the prestigious Governor’s Award of Excellence from the Government of West Bengal today at a grand ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Kolkata.

The award was presented by the Governor of West Bengal. The event gained added prominence with the presence of Mohan Babu’s son and MAA President Vishnu Manchu, along with MAA Treasurer Siva Balaji, who joined in honoring the icon's monumental achievements.

It is the first time West Bengal has bestowed such an honor on a Telugu actor, highlighting Telugu cinema's rising influence and artistic excellence across India. Coincidentally, Mohan Babu completes 50 glorious years in cinema.
