‘What’s Up Naresh’ first look unveiled

Kavya Kalyanram, who rose to prominence with Balagam, teams up with Kotha Poradu fame Anvesh Michael for “What’s Up Naresh.” whose first look and first glimpse were released on Monday. Written and directed by CV Vishal and produced by Bhagya Laxmi Chinta under the CVV Cinema banner, the makers kick-started the film’s promotions.The first-look poster exudes a warm, feel-good charm. 

Anvesh Michael, as Naresh, looks rooted while Kavya Kalyanram appears calm and cheerful as Sarika. The first glimpse opens on a humorous yet grounded note, with the parents’ discussing marriage and dowry. The father reveals that the girl’s family is willing to offer 80 lakh but want the wedding after summer. Naresh, unfazed, insists he wants nothing less than 8 crore, and declares he’s ready to wait as long as needed. 

The glimpse culminates at the beach, setting the stage perfectly for the second glimpse, arriving this Valentine’s Day.The film has top-notch music by the in-form Smaran Sai. Visuals of Vedaraman Sankaran and editing by Viplav bring together a vibrant contemporary urban love story. The movie aims to be the pleasant rom-com that most people would wait for.
