Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest civil aviation event, is set to be inaugurated at the Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad on January 28. Delegations from over 20 countries are to take part in the four day event. The conference will comprise 13 thematic sessions in addition to a Global CEOs Forum and a Ministerial Plenary. Scheduled from January 28 to 31 will be formally inaugurated by Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu.
The event, centred on the theme ‘Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation and Safety to Sustainability,’ is expected to reflect India’s rapidly expanding aviation footprint. The event will feature an expansive international exhibition, static aircraft displays, flying and aerobatic shows.The conference will comprise 13 thematic sessions in addition to a Global CEOs Forum and a Ministerial Plenary. Wings India 2026 will also feature static aircraft displays, live flying demonstrations, including aerial displays by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force.
One of the highlights of the event is an aviation job fair that would connect industry players with young professionals. A specially curated Civil Aviation Innovation Challenge for students is planned by the organisers.
