Yashoda Hospitals launched an advanced “Central Ambulance Command Center” and “Special Connected Ambulance Services” integrated with its 24/7 emergency helpline 105910 at its Hitec City unit on Saturday to strengthen Golden Hour emergency and trauma care services across Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) Trauma Corridors.

The state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Dr. M. Ramesh along with Dr. A. Lingaiah, Director Medical Services, Yashoda Group of Hospitals, Dr. Venkat Raman Kola, Director Medical Services, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City and Financial District.

The newly introduced emergency response ecosystem integrates connected ambulance technology, centralized command operations, real-time tele-monitoring, specialist-guided interventions, and coordinated trauma response systems on a single platform to ensure faster and more efficient emergency medical care.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. M. Ramesh said the Command Center would play a key role in saving lives during road accidents and medical emergencies by enabling rapid response through connected ambulance technology and ORR Trauma Corridor coordination. He also interacted with Emergency Medical Technicians across eight ORR Trauma Centers through video conference and appreciated their dedicated services.

Dr. A. Lingaiah said every second is crucial during emergencies and the Command Center was developed as a rapid-response system capable of delivering hospital-level emergency care even during ambulance transit.

He said connected ambulances are equipped with advanced tele-monitoring systems, enabling specialists to remotely monitor patients and guide paramedical staff. The system also allows Cath Labs, Operation Theatres, Stroke Teams, Trauma Teams, ICU beds, and imaging services to be prepared before patients reach the hospital.
