Rākāsā’ goes global, to release in 350+ theatres overseas

Hyderabad: Rākāsā is set to make a powerful mark on the international stage as Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures officially acquires its overseas theatrical rights. The film will roll out across more than 350 theatres spanning the USA, Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, signaling a major global push. This expansive international release underscores the growing anticipation around Rākāsā and reflects strong confidence in its theatrical draw across overseas markets. 

Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures, known for its expanding footprint in international distribution, has strategically aligned with Rākāsā to ensure a wide and coordinated overseas rollout. Having completed its principal photography, the film is currently in post-production, with the team focusing on refining the edit, background score, sound design, and overall visual texture in alignment with its theatrical vision. 

The previously released official poster and glimpse established the film’s imaginative tonal space without revealing narrative specifics. Rākāsā features Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. Written and directed by Manasa Sharma who is already a proven story teller where both Manasa Sharma and Sangeeth Sobhan have previously collaborated with Niharika on web projects.
