Telangana Sangeet Natak Academy Chairperson Alekya Punjala has asserted that the advancement of women within society hinges on cooperative dynamics among family members. While addressing the meeting of the Munnuru Kapu Association of North America (MANA) at a hotel in Hyderabad, Punjala articulated the perspective that empowering women is instrumental in fostering societal transformation and development, particularly when they receive support in multiple domains.
She highlighted the encouraging trend of women attaining accomplishments and empowering themselves across various sectors. "Family support is crucial for the progression of women. Nonetheless, a woman must also fulfill her family responsibilities. It is vital for her to maintain a balance between her obligations at home and her professional aspirations," stated Alekya Punjala.
Rama Mudichintala, President of MANA, remarked that their organization is a non-profit entity dedicated to instigating meaningful, enduring change by empowering individuals and fortifying the Munnuru Kapu community."The primary focus is on educating and empowering the community. Additionally, the organization provides services related to matrimony, immigration, and addressing student-related challenges experienced in the United States.
In the past three years, the organization has held over 30 meetings and has served the community by uniting its members under a single umbrella," conveyed Rama Mudichintala. The meeting was attended by past President Ramesh Maganti, MANA National Event Coordinator Anil Mudichintala, Chief Coordinator Sunkari Ram Murthy, noted surgeon Dr. P. Vinay Kumar, along with other distinguished individuals from the Munnuru Kapu communitya.
