219 public grievances submitted through the Prajavani programme across GHMC limits were reviewed on Monday, with Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy directing officials to resolve all pending issues without delay. She personally attended the weekly Prajavani session at the GHMC head office and instructed departments to respond promptly to citizen complaints.

Of the 219 applications registered citywide, 69 petitions were received at the head office alone. The remaining 150 petitions came from the six GHMC zones — Kukatpally topped with 60 complaints, followed by LB Nagar (32), Secunderabad (26), Serilingampally (22), Charminar (8), and Khairatabad (2).

Reinforcing the need for timely grievance redressal, the Deputy Mayor said that every petition must be addressed with responsibility and urgency. Senior GHMC officials, including Additional Commissioners Venugopal, Raghu Prasad, Subhadra Devi, Satyanarayana, Mangatayaru, CE Ratnakar, Housing CE Nithyananda, and Additional CCPs Gangadhar, Venkanna, and Pradeep, participated in the session.
