Air Force Station Hakimpet conducts industry outreach

An Industry Outreach Program (IOP) was conducted at Air Force Station Hakimpet on Tuesday, 17 March 2026. A total of 112 representatives from various industries participated, along with delegates from Air Headquarters, HQ Training Command and other bases. The purpose of the IOP was to expose the Indian industry to the primary role of Air Force Station Hakimpet in general and the Indian Air Force in particular. During the visit, the industry personnel visited various facilities of the station to gain first-hand experience of various facets of the station.

The event enabled industry personnel to align their research and design approaches towards innovative solutions. The enthusiasm and response from industry representatives were noteworthy, showing keen interest in delivering practical and executable solutions. A 'boots on ground' and collaborative association with the industry through the IOP will go a long way in bringing greater participation of private industry in the defense sector and in realizing the national goal of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
