Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas assumed charge as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command of the Indian Air Force on January 1, 2026. A fighter pilot with over 4,200 flying hours, he is a category ‘A’ Qualified Flying Instructor and a graduate of the National Defence Academy.
His educational qualifications include Master of Philosophy in Defence and Strategic Studies, Master of Management Studies and Master of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies. He has earlier served as Commandant of the Air Force Academy and Senior Air Staff Officer at HQ South Western Air Command.In recognition of his meritorious services, he has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal (2017) and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (2024) by the President of India.
