In the wake of the coalition government assuming power in Andhra Pradesh, visits by senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers to the state have been ongoing. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi toured Andhra Pradesh, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for several development projects. Continuing this trend, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Andhra Pradesh on January 18, as officially announced by the state BJP unit.

As part of his visit, Amit Shah will arrive in Vijayawada on the evening of January 18 (Saturday). That night, he is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Undavalli, where a high-level dinner will be hosted in his honour.

On January 19, Amit Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed offices of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) near Gannavaram. He will address a public gathering at the venue as part of the program. Following this event, Chandrababu Naidu is expected to depart for his scheduled visit to Davos.
