TGTRANSCO CMD conducts inspection of Raidurg substation

Transmission Corporation Of Telangana Limited (TGTRANSCO) Chairman and Managing Director D Krishna Bhaskar made a surprise inspection of the 400KV Raidurg GIS substation and 220KV Gachibowli substation on Thursday.

CMD directed concerned CE, SE and all staff to take all out preventive measures to maintain uninterrupted power supply, keeping in view the rising demand in the entire state and especially in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) areas.

The CMD, TGTRANSCO specifically directed CE, Metro Zone, TRANSCO to closely monitor the power supply position on each and every 33KV feeder so as to take up the rectification action immediately as and when problem arises, duly fixing the responsibility for any negligence or lapses.

CMD, TGTRANSCO emphasized the need to keep sufficient material stocks for timely execution of all Construction and Operation and Maintenance works and issued directions to officials to plan well in advance and to ensure sufficient rolling stock of equipment such as Transformers, CTs, PTs, Insulators, Circuit Breakers to combat any emergencies.

During the inspection, CMD, TGTRANSCO reiterated that all field engineers shall stay at their headquarters and continue to strive hard to take all required measures to maintain quality and reliable power supply throughout the state.

The Director, Transmission T Jagath Reddy has accompanied the CMD, TRANSCO for the inspection of both 400KV Raidurg GIS and 220KV Gachibowli substation, which are catering to the high demand IT Corridor areas of Hyderabad city.
