To inspire youth through digital marathon

With an aim to harness the creativity, energy, and social consciousness of young people, the Andhra Pradesh Youth Services Department has launched an innovative initiative titled “Andhra Yuva Sankalp 2K25.” The month-long digital marathon, running from September 1 to 30, seeks to engage youth in promoting social values, healthy lifestyles, and technological awareness through creative digital content.
Officials said the campaign is designed to align with “Viksit Bharat 2047” and “Swarna Andhra Vision 2047,”envisioning the role of youth as active contributors to the nation’s progress. “In today’s world, a single idea has the power to influence millions. The question is, can our youth channel this digital power for social good and national development? Andhra Yuva Sankalp 2K25 is our answer to that challenge,” said S.Ramakrishna, Deputy Director of Youth Services Department.
The programme is built around three broad themes, Youth responsibilities, Fit Youth AP, and Smart Youth AP, by encouraging social responsibility, family values, and humanitarian principles, besides promoting fitness, nutrition, sports, and overall physical and mental well-being as the foundation of a progressive state. It also includes preparing youth for rapid technological transformations, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, while dispelling myths and encouraging innovation.
Participants are invited to create short, inspirational videos or reels based on these themes and share them across social media using the hashtag #AndhraYuvaSankalp2K25. The campaign aims to leverage the power of digital platforms to reach and influence lakhs of young people.
“This is not just a competition, it is a movement to showcase the creativity, awareness, and responsibility of Andhra’s youth. By using digital storytelling, we want young minds to engage with real issues that matter to society,” Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy.
The campaign is open to school students, college and university learners, young professionals, digital creators, influencers, and fitness trainers. Participants can submit videos in one or more categories, with no limit on the number of entries.
All entries must be uploaded on the official website www.andhrayuvasankalp.com.To recognise outstanding contributions, the government has announced attractive prizes, First Prize of Rs.1,00,000, Second Prize of Rs.75,000, and Third Prize of Rs.50,000. A total of nine winners will be declared as “Andhra Youth Brand Ambassadors 2K25.” Every participant will also receive a “Digital Creator of AP 2K25” certificate, giving them recognition for their creativity and social engagement.
