The sun is shining on Andhra Pradesh. In what can be termed as a landmark foray, the Government inked 40 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹3,49,476 crore, promising 4,15,890 jobs across sectors ranging from green energy and high-tech manufacturing to IT infrastructure, aerospace and food processing at the 30th  CII Partnership Summit 2025 here on Friday.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presided over the signing of several marquee partnerships, including game-changing commitments in Drone City, Space City, semiconductors, deep-tech, advanced manufacturing and green hydrogen. The government simultaneously launched two futuristic projects-Drone City and Space City-from the Vizag summit platform, reflecting the state’s ambition to build India’s largest ecosystem for drones, aerospace and private space enterprises. Both projects are expected to anchor thousands of jobs and catalyse new industries across AP.

Reliance Industries added significant heft to the summit by announcing a 1 GW AI data centre, powered entirely by a dedicated 6 GW solar plant, making it one of Asia’s most advanced clean-energy AI infrastructures. The company also committed to a 170-acre integrated food park in Kurnool, compressed biogas (CBG) hubs and expanded digital and retail operations.

Other major MoUs signed today include advanced renewable energy projects, large-scale infrastructure commitments, manufacturing clusters, and international partnerships spanning electronics, satellite technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals and shipbuilding.

Throughout the summit, AP’s ministers led parallel discussions with global corporations, finalising additional MoUs that will be formally announced over the weekend. IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh said the response reflected the state’s “speed of doing business” model, grounded in transparent policy, fast-track approvals and sector-focused industrial corridors.

With Vizag evolving into a global investment gateway and Amaravati preparing to host India’s first Quantum Valley, Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as the nation’s most future-ready economic hub. Day 1 of the summit has sent a clear message: the next industrial decade of India may well be shaped from Andhra Pradesh.
