APSDC and Skill Bee India to train nursing students for abroad opportunities

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation(APSDC) and Skill Bee India Pvt Ltd  to provide training to the students studying BSc Nursing, GNM and ANM in various government and private institutions in the state. The aim of the agreement is to help them get opportunities in Germany and Europe. The MoU was signed in the presence of state Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. Both APSDC and Skill Bee stated that their aim is to address the shortage of language proficiency and make AP a skill capital.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Nara Lokesh said there is a shortage of 300,000 nursing candidates in hospitals and care for the elderly in Germany. He stated that the Agreement will facilitate skill development training in German language through Skill Bee to students studying nursing in the state in order to take advantage of opportunities in Europe, especially in Germany. He announced that this training will provide jobs to 1,000 nursing students every year with the best package in Germany.

Vinjamuri Ravichandra Gautam, co-founder of Skill B India Pvt Ltd and Ujjwal Chauhan, CEO, said that the company has so far created more than 10,000 jobs abroad. “Skill Bee is one of the best recruitment startups at the international level. We are recruiting candidates for Germany, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and other Eastern European countries through our organisation.” he said.

More than 4,000 nursing students in government and private nursing colleges in the state will be imparted skill development training in German language through Skill Bee. In the first phase,   AP Skill Development and Training Principal Secretary Kona Shashidhar, APSSDC CEO Ganesh Kumar, Executive Director Manohar, Medicrutor MD Ronald Reske were present on the occasion.
