Aries Agro Limited, a leading agricultural company, distributed advanced battery-powered electronic prosthetic hands to 70 persons with disabilities from underprivileged communities across Telangana on Tuesday. The initiative, part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, was conducted in partnership with Inali Foundation.
The distribution camp took place at Mahbub College, S.D. Road, Secunderabad, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expert prosthetists from Inali Foundation carried out detailed measurements and custom-fitted the prosthetics to the specific needs of each beneficiary. The primary goal was to restore confidence, dignity, and independence among individuals who have lost their hands.
These modern electronic prosthetic hands, powered by batteries, are designed to improve daily functioning and enhance the quality of life for recipients. Officials said the devices will enable users to perform everyday tasks more efficiently and gain greater self-reliance.
Rahul Mirchandani, CMD of Aries Agro Limited, said the company sees it as a responsibility to support underprivileged sections of society and empower persons with disabilities. Jayapradeep Subramanian, Executive Vice President (Marketing), added that the initiative brings hope to beneficiaries and reflects the company’s commitment to social welfare alongside its focus on agricultural excellence.
