Aster Hospital conducts bike rally ahead of World Heart Day

Aster Prime Hospital, in association with Wanderers Bulleters Hyderabad , organized a ‘World Heart BIKE-E-THON’ , a 15-km heart health awareness ride with 100 Bullet motorcycles, ahead of World Heart Day. The World Heart BIKE-E-THON encouraged people to stay physically active, understand cardiovascular risk factors, adopt healthier lifestyles and seek timely medical attention rather than waiting for symptoms to appear. The ride began at Aster Prime Hospital and passed through Moosapet, Kukatpally Y Junction, Narsapur Cross Road and Balkampet before returning to the hospital.

Dr Hari Kumar Reddy, CEO, Aster Prime Hospital mentioned that health awareness needs to go beyond hospitals and become part of everyday conversations in our communities. Highlighting the importance of identifying cardiovascular risks early, Dr Sai Ravi Shankar , HOD & Sr Consultant – Cardiology advice  people to understand their individual risk factors and not wait for chest pain before they start thinking seriously about their heart health. Anil Ravuri and Lalit Jain, Founder, Wanderers Bulleters Hyderabad, said the riding community was proud to use its passion for motorcycles for a larger social purpose.
