Ponnur Constituency Coordinator Ambati Murali alleged that Vijayawada alliance government failed to implement even a single promise made during the elections and they betrayed the people.

Speaking at an extended constituency-level meeting held at the local YSRCP office in Ponnur on Sunday, Ambati Murali strongly criticized the ruling coalition government.

He announced that, in protest of the Chandrababu government’s actions, a state-wide ‘Backstabbing Day’ would be observed on June 4. Ambati accused Chandrababu of deceiving people with false promises to come to power and now running a ruthless government that shows no concern for public welfare. He remarked that such governance has never been witnessed in the history of the country.

He expressed hope that through the YSRCP’s protest programs on Backstabbing Day, Chief Minister Chandrababu would be forced to open his eyes to the truth.

The meeting was attended by Guntur Parliament Observers Pothina Mahesh, Guntur Parliament Constituency Coordinator Modugula Venu Gopal Reddy, District Party President Ambati Rambabu, Mangalagiri Constituency Coordinator Donthi Reddy Vema Reddy, Tadikonda Constituency Coordinator Diamond Babu, Prathipadu Constituency Coordinator Balasani Kiran Kumar, and Guntur East Constituency Coordinator Noori Fatima.
