During the Bonalu festival season, the Telangana Government has taken a significant decision by forming the Balkampet Yellamma - Pochamma Temple Trust Board. The Endowments department issued official orders to establish the board with a total of 13 members.

The trust board members took the oath under the supervision of Temple Executive Officer Mahender Goud and Assistant Commissioner Sandhya Rani. Dr. Kotha Neelima, TPCC Vice President and Sanathnagar Constituency in-charge, was present as a guest for the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion after the swearing-in ceremony, Dr. Kotha Neelima said that the state government has made all necessary arrangements to celebrate this year’s Bonalu festival in a prestigious and grand manner. She added that special funds have been allocated to temples for the purpose. To ensure smooth and organized celebrations, the government has formed the 13-member Balkampet Yellamma–Pochamma Temple Trust Board. She conveyed her best wishes to all the newly sworn-in members.
