Singareni’s social responsibility initiatives have received yet another recognition. In appreciation of the CSR works undertaken by Singareni Collieries Company Limited in towns and tribal villages of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, the company has been conferred with the “Beacon of Hope Award”. 

At a recent CSR Summit held at the Bhadrachalam Tribal Bhavan, the District Collector, Jitesh V. Patil, presented the award to Singareni General Manager (Welfare & CSR) G. Venkata Kiran Kumar and CSR Officer Gattu Swamy. On this occasion, the District Collector praised the services rendered by Singareni. He stated that over the past five years, Singareni has spent more than ₹15 crore from CSR funds on numerous public utility works such as school buildings, roads, and drainage systems. 

The organizers mentioned that the award was presented to Singareni in recognition of having undertaken the highest number of CSR works in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. They further noted that, in a similar manner, Singareni is extending services across all districts by spending crores of rupees through CSR funds to provide basic infrastructure and to promote educational and healthcare development.
